Arranger

Sam Keily

Sam is a versatile arranger and multi-instrumentalist with experience creating charts for live performances, studio recordings, and commercial publication. He studied arranging under Adi Yeshaya (Whitney Houston, Prince, NBC’s The Voice), gaining advanced training in orchestration and contemporary arranging techniques. Sam writes for a wide variety of ensembles, including arrangements for strings, winds, rhythm section, and vocal ensembles.

From 2024–2026, Sam arranged music for Royal Caribbean productions aboard Symphony of the Seas, including cabarets and live shows beyond the Tony Award–winning musical Hairspray. His work included full orchestral arrangements, rhythm, horn, and vocal charts. For Hairspray, Sam coached performers and musicians in interpreting the existing arrangements to ensure musical integrity and consistency throughout the production.

In addition to live production work, Sam has composed and arranged original works and showcases. His Night of Music performance in 2024 featured a 12-piece orchestra and six vocalists, with selections spanning musical theater and popular music, and is available on YouTube. His original composition Nefarious Utopia for saxophone and piano debuted to enthusiastic acclaim at York Performance Hall. Sam has written extensively for saxophone ensembles at Anderson University and contributed arrangements for local show choirs.

Sam’s published arrangements are available for purchase on Sheet Music Direct and Sheet Music Plus, reflecting his professional reach beyond live performance. Combining technical precision, stylistic versatility, and a deep understanding of instrumentation, Sam brings thoughtful, expressive, and effective arrangements to every project.
