Sam Keily

Sam is an accomplished classical and contemporary saxophonist with extensive performance experience across genres. He has performed cornerstone classical works, including the Glazunov Concerto and the Creston Concerto, and has played with the Anderson Symphony Orchestra as an ensemble member. His classical training forms the foundation for a versatile career that spans orchestral, jazz, pop, funk, latin, and musical theater performance.
From 2024–2026, Sam performed aboard Royal Caribbean’s Symphony of the Seas, playing with orchestras, big bands, and various ensembles in shows ranging from musical theater to pop and holiday music. He has played saxophone for projects inspired by Earth, Wind & Fire, Tower of Power, Stevie Wonder, and other iconic artists. In addition to performing, Sam arranges for saxophone ensembles, orchestras, and vocal groups, and contributes to live productions as a multi-instrumentalist and musical director.
Sam is also a versatile woodwind doubler, with professional training on clarinet and flute, and he frequently participates in recording sessions and content creation projects that showcase contemporary saxophone performance. Combining classical technique with improvisational skill and ensemble experience, Sam brings technical mastery, creativity, and expressive musicality to every performance.
