Vocal Coach/Supervisor

Sam Keily

Sam is a vocal coach and vocal supervisor with extensive experience guiding performers in both live and studio settings. From 2024–2026, he served as Vocal Supervisor and Musical Director for the Tony Award–winning musical Hairspray aboard Royal Caribbean’s Symphony of the Seas, overseeing the vocal performance of a 24-member cast and a live 10-piece orchestra. In this role, he led daily vocal warmups, ran rehearsals, and provided notes sessions to maintain vocal consistency and health across an intensive production schedule. He also coached new cast members, ensuring seamless integration into the show, and trained multiple performers to maintain the show’s vocal integrity in his absence.

In addition, Sam served as Musical Director and Vocal Supervisor for Flight: Dare to Dream, an original Royal Caribbean production. His responsibilities included designing vocal warmups, leading rehearsals, coaching performers across musical styles, and maintaining long-term vocal and musical standards. He is highly skilled at adapting vocal technique to a variety of styles, including musical theater, pop, rock, jazz, and contemporary commercial music.

Sam’s studio experience complements his live work; as a producer and audio engineer, he is meticulous about vocal detail and performance quality. He frequently provides background vocals on recordings and collaborates with soloists and ensembles to achieve expressive, polished results. Known for his collaborative approach, deep musical understanding, and attention to detail, Sam brings both artistry and leadership to every vocal project he undertakes.
